The story of a Cambodian refugee family now living in the Allston neighborhood of Boston. After six years in the U.S., the grandmother, mother and three sons are participating in their new culture while keeping Cambodian traditions alive in their lives in this new land. Where the River Runs explores the school, foods, cooking, language struggles, community and daily life of the Prek family.
