THE POET IN ME Book 2 is the second in a series of two books to help students understand and appreciate poetry. Subject and theme, tone and poetic devices of a variety of poems are examined. In addition, creative and interesting exercises are included to awaken the student's interest in poetry. Poems to give pleasure are specially selected for this book as poetry should be read and enjoyed. Most of all, the authors wish to help the student write poetry. The final chapter of this book will show the student how this can be done.
Both book is this series, THE POET IN ME, aim to nurture to the fullest the student's understanding, enjoyment and creative response to poetry.
