The Wright brothers are known as the inventors of the first working aeroplane. Their aeroplane war a flimsy, clumsy machine, not much more than a motorised glider. But with the succes of the Wright brothers, the dream of flying literally took off. Aeroplane have improved so much since then that jet aeroplane today need runaways longer than the entire flight of that first flying machine.
